Quintana Roo, a resort oasis and the home city of Cancun, Mexico, surreal, beautiful and unworldly, set the inspiration for a bike design so unique, the name would have to follow. Designed specifically for the triathlon, the first 1993 Kilo was released. When you think of Quintana Roo, images of bikes, wetsuits, transition areas, permanent ink numbers on thighs, and athletes shaking out muscles and getting ready for an adventure comes to mind. The Kilo was made for this enthusiast and was, for the most part, invented specifically for you. Hours and hours of research went into creating not only the aerodynamic elements of the bike, but also the body geometry of the rider to best suit cycling power and comfort while in the aero position. The Kilo is built well and priced right to add a triathlon, time trial specific bike to your collection using Easton aluminum custom butted tubing frame with an aerodynamic carbon fork. Start your passion today!
The 2008 model received a significant facelift over previous entry Kilo models including bladed carbon forks, aerodynamic aluminum tubing, contoured wishbone seatstays, hand detailed tube brazing, integrated headset, rear derailleur hangar and standard 700c size wheels.
