The Giant OCR C1 was introduced to the US market in 2007, 2008. The frame is a single piece, full carbon fiber composite, with internal cable routing and a removable brazeon front derailleur mount, designed for road racing and triathlons. It’s sleek, aerodynamic and built for strength and comfort. This frame has many unique design characteristics such as oversized junctions (for strength) and flattened rear stays (softening) , Both the seat stays and chain stays have a elegant wishbone shape that both dampens the ride and reduced harmonic resonance. The front forks are shaped similarly. This is a fantastic sporty frame for the cycling enthusiast who prefers to go a little faster than the others 🙂
This frame is notable providing very zippy and responsive handling while having a more relaxed feel. At just over 3 pounds for the frame and fork, the bike will accelerate and climb like a rocket! With it’s more relaxed ride quality, you may choose to go with more aero wheels to give the ride a more sporty feel while improving performance.
Sizing was only given the designation by Giant as XS, S, M, L and XL – this is a large frame.
Condition:
Description provided in our video. Please look for it in the photo gallery. In excellent condition with only a few minor marks and dings. The carbon weave shows brilliantly through the frame’s glossy finish. Some minor cosmetic imperfection in the sticker logo on the top tube, and the racing stripes to the rear stays. This frame was ridden lightly with low miles. There’s no damage and is functionally perfect.
