Description
What makes this saddle special?
Quintana Roo, a resort oasis and the home city of Cancun, Mexico, surreal, beautiful and unworldly, set the inspiration for a bike design so unique, the name would have to follow. When you think of Quintana Roo, images of bikes, westuits, transition areas, permanent ink numbers on thighs, and athletes shaking out muscles and getting ready for an adventure comes to mind.
The Quntana Roo saddle was designed for the TT / Triathlete in mind, to be most comfortable and enduring while sitting in an aggressive aero position. The saddle has a sweeping “S” contour designed to cradle the sitbones and lock them into position to prevent slipping forward or back. The nose has a thick, firm pad as well as the tail of the saddle below the sitbone region. There is a comfort depression channel removing pressure from the perineum. Padding is thicker than most road racing saddles and has a nice degree of flexibility. This is all designed so that you don’t need to sit up.
Condition
Very good condition with only a couple minor flaws. The saddle surface is near perfect. There are a couple of small depressions (divits) that should work out in time. Theres a small section of the saddle leather, under the saddle, that is lifting from the poly shell.
