Chorus BBs run three sealed cartridge bearings (two drive-side, one non-drive) and are built to Campagnolo’s exacting standards. This is the correct spec for Chorus and Record 9/10-speed double cranks.
Workshop Wisdom Italian thread drive-side cups are right-hand thread — unlike English/BSA which is left-hand on the drive side. This means the Italian cup can back itself out under pedaling load. Use a light thread-locking compound on the drive cup at installation. Don’t skip this step.
