Description
Will this work?
- Campagnolo square taper cranks only — Record or Chorus double or compact, 10-speed
- Does not fit triple cranksets — 102mm spindle is double/compact only
- English BSA threaded frame — 1.370x24T, 68mm shell
- Not compatible with Shimano, SRAM, or any non-Campy square taper crankset
- Both cups included
Condition: Near mint. Threads pristine, bearings spin smooth with zero play or roughness. Essentially unused.
Notes from MyBikeThing — The Record Carbon is the lightest square taper Campy BB ever made — carbon shell, sealed bearings, and built to the standard you’d expect from the top of the Record group. New these run $119. If you’re running a period-correct Campy 10-speed double or compact build on an English threaded frame, this is the one to have and this example is as close to new as you’ll find used.
Workshop Wisdom — English BSA frames: drive side cup is left-hand thread, non-drive side is right-hand thread. Uses a standard Shimano cassette lockring tool to install and remove. Grease the cup threads before installation, torque to 35–50Nm. Do not use carbon paste — standard grease only on the threads.
Guarantee — You put in the miles, we put in the work. 30-day guarantee on fit, function, and condition. – Paul
