⭐Condition

This is a rough-around-the-edges frame that’s ready to ride, not a show piece. The frame has numerous cosmetic issues — chips and areas of missing paint throughout. There’s a small impression on the top tube; I sanded that section to inspect it because the paint was cracked and chipped and looked like it could be worse than cosmetic. Good news: the impression itself is minor, roughly 10mm diameter x 2mm shallow — it’s not a structural concern, just bare metal showing through where I sanded it clean.

The fork has cosmetic chips and dings to match, but it’s mechanically sound — no leaks, and the spring has good recoil and damping. BB threads on the frame are clean and ready to go. The derailleur hanger is included; it arrived bent and I straightened it back to true, so it’s fully functional.

Bottom line: this is a great 29er hardtail beater, ready to build up and ride hard without babying it.

🚴The Ride

For a budget 29er – this is a sweet little frame (big actually). 6061 Alloy is upper tier material that shaves weight and creates a stiff and resposnive ride. With front suspension and 29er wheels, that stiffness translates into performance while the ride stays compliant and comfortable. In today’s coddled e-bike world – ride a bike that’t meant to be peddaled, not driven. Hit the trails, or your city’s potholed streets, this bike will eat them both for lunch and leave you with a smile.
