These come out near mint which means the bearings are fresh and the platforms haven’t been ground down on rocks yet. Traction pins are M4 replacements available for a few dollars anywhere that sells MTB hardware — easy fix to get these dialed exactly how you want them.

Workshop Wisdom: Platform pedals thread opposite sides: left pedal is reverse-threaded (counter-clockwise to tighten), right pedal is standard (clockwise to tighten). Mark them L/R before installing. Use a pedal wrench on the flats — don’t use a regular spanner or you’ll round the spindle.
