Some cool info you may want:
S# 56962
Year: 1999-2000-ish
Size: Large – XL, this was the largest of 4 sizes that Litespeed made in this model
Named after the Northeast region of Tennessee where Litespeeds are made, the Unicoi features a unique frame design that’s eye-catching to say the least. Although the Unicoi looks like a full-suspension bike, Litespeed refers to this bike as a rear-damped hardtail. The Unicoi is designed for riders looking for a versatile cross-country/marathon bike that will go the distance. Litespeed checked off the boxes required to compete at local races or enjoy all-day epic adventures. The bike is designed to be a high performance, race capable xc ride, nimble enough to maneuver around obstacles, plush enough to go over them and light enough to climb! Climbing is what truly separates the Unicoi from others in the field. Most FS bikes bounce up to the top with springy rear suspension that loses its grip on soft surfaces and wastes your energy on the bounce. The Unicoi is designed to climb like a hardtail, but descend with some give with the rear suspension activated. The Rock Shox SID XC has a quick adjust lockout mechanism, is dual air and was Rock Shox top of the like cross country shock in the early 2000’s. Enjoy your adventure!
Condition:
Description provided in our video. Please look for it in the photo gallery.
The frame is is excellent condition with no damage and no major rug burns. There are a few light scratches, but nothing that stands out. The BB threads are excellent. The shock is tested and works and holds air. I have depressurized the shock , so, when you get it, you will need to add air.
