Workshop Wisdom: Remove the valve core before injecting sealant — it’s faster, cleaner, and prevents sealant from fouling the core. Reinstall and torque snug by hand. Don’t overtighten the locknut against the rim — it can deform the O-ring and cause slow leaks.
