Workshop Wisdom — Octalink V1 and V2 are not interchangeable — V1 has a 5mm deep spline, V2 is deeper. English BSA: drive side cup is left-hand thread, non-drive is right-hand. Grease cup threads before installation, torque to 35–50Nm.
