Description

Will this work?

  • Italian threaded shell only — 36x24mm ITA, 70mm shell width
  • Compatible with all Shimano Hollowtech II cranksets with 24mm spindle — Dura-Ace 9100/9000, Ultegra R8000/6800/6700, 105 R7000/5800/5700 and others
  • Both cups are right-hand thread — no reverse threading on Italian BBs
  • Includes both cups and sealing sleeve

Condition: Very good. Black anodized cups show mild scuffs. Italian threads clean with no damage. Bearings spin smoothly with no play or roughness.

Notes from MyBikeThing — The BB-R9100 is Dura-Ace level Hollowtech II — lightweight aluminum cups, sealed bearings, made in Japan, and compatible with the full range of modern Shimano 24mm Hollowtech II cranks. Italian thread BBs at this quality level are a specific find — if you’re running a Pinarello, Bianchi, Colnago, or other Italian-thread frame with a Shimano Hollowtech II crankset, this is exactly what you need.

Workshop Wisdom — Italian thread: both cups are right-hand thread, no reverse threading. Arrows on the cups indicate tightening direction — follow them. Standard Shimano BB tool for installation. Grease cup threads, torque to 35–50Nm. Adjust left crank arm preload before tightening the pinch bolts.

Guarantee — You put in the miles, we put in the work. 30-day guarantee on fit, function, and condition. – Paul
