The real party trick here is the AccuShift Plus dual-mode: run indexed when everything plays nice, flip to friction when it doesn’t. Rare enough that vintage builders actively hunt them. Silver finish looks sharp on a period-correct build.

Workshop Wisdom: AccuShift indexing uses a different cable pull ratio than Shimano SIS — in indexed mode, these pair correctly with Suntour derailleurs only. In friction mode, the cable pull is irrelevant and they’ll work with virtually any rear derailleur. When in doubt, run friction and enjoy smooth, forgiving shifting on any drivetrain.
