We take a break in Lahaina under the Banyan tree and then continue our ride through Lahaina, the Kaanapali golf courses and keep going until we reach the end of civilization. We take a break at a village on Kahakuola Beach and stop at Julia&#8217;s Banana Bread stand. Then the real challenge begins up Pu&#8217;u Kukui along Highway 340 &#8211; nicknamed &#8220;Death Road&#8221; for its narrow, winding path that climbs to a maximum elevation of 1,764 feet.
